I really enjoyed staying at Opera Hotel & Spa. Room was very comfortable, well-maintained and nice. Service was excellent! Staff allowed us to feel cared for. Very tasty breakfast and buffet in the restaurant.Hotel location is very convenient - right in the center of all attractions and also all best shops were around there. We have got the best impression of the Opera Hotel & Spa, also of Riga.

Half amazing, half disappointing
The location is perfect with easy access to the old town shopping and parks. Staff were really nice making the stay enjoyable and smooth. My room was spacious and well-equipped.
Lack of air conditioning. I faced issues with the Wi-Fi connection dropping out frequently, quite frustrating.

Location and equipment
Service at breakfast is limited and waiters are "waiting" but not serving anymore. Why is it not possible, at a 4 start hotel to serve coffee.... and there was one more thing, the hotel changed owner and for whatever crazy reason also changed the name (used to be Nordic Hotel Bellvue). Can not understand why, was difficult to find it on the web and taxi drivers do not know the hotel..

missingWrote a review on 12 Octfriendly stafflong waitpoor breakfast quality
Efficient and friendly staff at reception.
The check-in process took forever, over an hour! The room claimed to have air conditioning, but this was a total lie. Instead, we received fans, which barely helped in the sweltering heat. To top it off, the breakfast was a disgrace-poor quality, unappetizing options that felt stale and tasteless. This experience was frustrating, and I left feeling cheated.

Nothing very special
The Hotel is not capable of offering the needed services when fully booked in tourist high season. Particularly critical is the breakfast buffet. Emty, cold, without drinks, etc.

Amazing hotel with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and laundry services. The staff once helped me with dining directions. I recommend checking their security measures for ease of mind. I'm coming back for a holiday!

Very nice overall experience. Big hotel with modest rooms and most importantly, superbly friendly staff. Units on sweet wash basin. Smooth check in and exceptional service overall. Everything good.
